Also, during our initial Zoom meeting we will discuss the first part of the training which will be about D.I.S.C. (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness & Compliance) and you will be asked to take a short twenty minute D.I.S.C. personality test prior to moving forward. The test will be at your own expense and costs less than fifteen pounds and is carried out by an external company. After you have taken the test and forwarded us a copy, we will invite you for a second Zoom meeting…

Why is D.I.S.C. important?

We need to understand how to listen and talk with each other should we go forward with your window cleaning franchise purchase. Therefore we need to know what your D.I.S.C profile is. Teodora Smith is a qualified D.I.S.C. trainer and probably the only one in the Window Cleaning Industry. Darran Smith who will be one of your key training instructors is a very strong D.I. We can’t wait to find what your personality trait is.

The second Free Zoom meeting

During this Zoom meeting we will really find out if we are a good fit for each other. Our aim is to help everyone succeed in business but we know not everyone can succeed. We would not want to take anyone’s hard earned money for a franchise if we do not believe they can succeed with us. Again you will be able to ask us questions that you need clarification on.

We will send you non disclosure agreements and after a Franchise contract for your perusal. Other materials will be given to explain the opportunity further. Together we will discuss a suitable time frame to get you started and onboarded!

The Window Cleaning Franchise Course

Day 1 – Online Via Zoom or In Person, Ashford, Kent – you choose!

Morning Session:

Developing your business plan is crucial, and that is what we will work on. Once we understand what you want for your life and business (goal) we will write up your personal business plan! We will also develop an organisational chart for your business to ensure you reach the goal!

Afternoon Session:

Round building and managing software implementation and sign up is the next step. This usually takes no more than a couple of hours for most people. Even those who are NOT tech savvy!

Accounting training follows and we will get you signed up to an accounts package and teach you the basics on how to use it.

Setting up with HMRC. We will explain how to register yourself with HMRC and give you advice on setting up your limited company.

Setting you up with public liability insurance through our broker.

D.I.S.C. basic training on why it is important for you to understand more about it. Crucial for when you are talking to prospective customers and new employees.

Day 2 – In person, Ashford, Kent

Morning Session:

Window Cleaning Training.

The first part of the day will be used to teach you how to operate your window cleaning system. How to fill it with water, how to use the controllers and how to trouble shoot. Then on to the water fed poles and why it is important to use and maintain them correctly.

Hands on cleaning a house windows for the very first time!

End of day procedures on how to pack everything away carefully and securely.

Afternoon Session:

Window Cleaning Training:

Traditional squeegee method instruction and practice. We believe you will come across the need to clean a window with a squeegee, this could be inside a house or in an office environment.

Day 3 – In person, Ashford, Kent

All day session:

Window Cleaning Training:

Your first FULL day out there on the tools with an experienced window cleaner. You will travel with one of our window cleaners and help them clean windows to multiple properties in and around the Ashford area.

Day 4 – In person, Ashford, Kent

Morning:

Window Cleaning Marketing Training:

We will teach you how to market your business properly. Using proven methods and techniques. We also explore other available help we can give moving forwards. We will set you up on our Nautilus Window Cleaning website Location Page specific for your area.

Bio Video of you will be undertaken and used in your location page and other areas of your business.

Afternoon:

Handover of your fully wrapped window cleaning van:

Unless we have already organised your window cleaning van prior to training, this is where you get your branded van handed over.

Marketing materials and company manual will be inside the van ready for you to use.

Time for you to set off home, ready to start your window cleaning business journey!
