Window Cleaning Agreement Terms & Conditions

Our purpose is to provide you with the most phenomenal window cleaning service experience ever.

Please read our fair terms and conditions. This explains what we are offering you in regards to your regular scheduled window cleaning services.

We only clean windows every 4, 8 or 12 weeks on a scheduled service cycle. (we do not work on monthly cycles because it is too difficult for us to schedule)

We do not offer one off window cleaning services. 

We clean windows all year round, Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn.

1.0 Initial Visit

When scheduling your first clean, there could be a one-time charge to account for the additional time required for the initial clean. The cost of this charge will depend on the size of your house and the frequency of ongoing cleans. We will explain the details to you during the sign-up process. By agreeing to use our services you have agreed to our terms and conditions.

1.1. What to Expect

Our pure water cleaning system is highly effective in removing general dirt from your windows. However, please note that it may not effectively remove builder’s residue (e.g., plaster, concrete, and paint), stickers or adhesive, staining/discoloration caused by chemicals or rust, and UV damaged window frames. If any of these specific issues are present, please notify us when we contact you to arrange your first clean.

1.2 Visit Frequency

We  offer four , eight and twelve weekly scheduled window cleaning services. We kindly request some flexibility with the scheduling due to inclement weather factors like high winds or freezing conditions and other unforeseen circumstances, allowing for a window of one week before or after the scheduled time.

1.3 Inclement Weather

While we make every effort to avoid cleaning your windows in the rain, we can still perform our services during rain fall without compromising the results. However, in the case of heavy rain, we will reschedule your clean for the next working day.

1.4 Rescheduling or Cancellations

We strive to be dependable and accommodate your needs, and we appreciate your reliability as well. We allocate time and resources to serve you on the scheduled day. If you turn our team away at the door or cancel on the day of the clean without notifying our office, we reserve the right to charge the full expected price and/or cancel any ongoing service. Additionally, if access to your property is not made available on the scheduled day, we will charge the full expected price. Please understand that on the day of the clean, it is not possible for us to replace your appointment with another customer.

1.5 Termination of Services

Should you wish to cancel our services for any reason, you have the right to do so by giving us one month’s notice. To initiate the cancellation, please contact us by telephone at 0333 567 7733 or via email at contact@nautiluswc.co.uk. However, please note that we do not offer one-off window cleans. By using our services, you agree to a minimum of a twelve monthly service. If you cancel before twelve months have been completed, you will be responsible for paying the remaining balance.

1.6 Complaints Procedure

We always strive to provide the best possible service when cleaning your windows. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 24 hours of the clean. We will promptly schedule a return visit on the next working day to re-clean your windows at no additional cost. Please note that complaints received after 24 hours may not be eligible for a re-clean. It is important to understand that we operate on a no refund policy. However, we are committed to rectifying any unsatisfactory work free of charge if we are notified within 24 hours of the clean date.

1.7 Confidentiality

We understand the importance of privacy. All customer information is securely stored in a confidential database and will not be shared or discussed with any individual or company, as required by the terms and conditions of the data protection act.

1.8 Payments

For customers joining our four, eight or twelve weekly scheduled window cleaning rounds, we prefer payments to be made through our direct debit system called Go Cardless and because it is extremely easy for you to setup. Payments can also be made in Cash on the day or via bank transfer.

1.9 14 Day Cooling Off Period

You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days. Simply call us on 0333 567 7733 or go to our website, click on cancellation, and enter your details. Your agreement with us will be cancelled. We only want to collaborate with satisfied clients who really want a regular four, eight or twelve weekly scheduled window cleaning service.

2.0 Our Reminder Service

We send out email reminders the day before service is due. This is to remind you that we are coming, and to unlock any gates etc. When we turn up and find the gate is locked you will still be charged full price. The reminder service is not there to allow you to skip or cancel the clean, please see 1.4 and 1.5 above. This is because it is too short notice and we cannot fill your appointment with another customer. Which is not fair to us. The full cost of the clean will be due and payable.

Window Cleaning Guarantee

Because your windows are cleaned using specialist pure water window cleaning equipment. You should never have dirty glass on the outside of your home ever again. And if it rains when we are cleaning your windows, we also have an extra 48-hour guarantee. Should you see any dirty marks on the outside of your windows. Simply call the office on 0333 567 7733 and somebody will come out and reclean the windows for free. No questions asked.

Upon initiating our scheduled window cleaning services, you acknowledged and agreed to our terms and conditions.
